Bristol's Youth Music Action Zone
REMIX aims to provide music making opportunities to young people, in particular those who have had limited access to such resources in the past. REMIX has worked with partner organisations and musicians to provide a wide range of workshops and performances across Bristol.
Programme of sports and activities for ages 5 to 19.
Sport Unlimited is targeted at 'semi-sporty' children, young people and young adults living in Bristol. It will engage them in an extra 1-2 hours a week (minimum 10-weeks) of high quality sport and physical activity. Every school break we organise and manage a wide range of sports and leisure activities through our Sport Unlimited Plus programme for children and young people aged four to 16.

We offer two-week free* employability courses designed to equip you with skills that could lead to employment *The courses are free to people who meet certain criteria: applicants need to be over 19, eligible to work in the UK and unemployed.
We re-engage the disengaged
We are a charity based in South Bristol. We offer training to young people and those wishing to re-enter the world of work. The three platforms of our activity are: construction,gardening and furniture restoration.

Trips for people with Additional Requirements
Founded in Bristol in 2009, Out & About & Away offers a service to adults with disabilities who want to have a night out, a day trip or even a few days away. We organise the trip and provide whatever support is required. We also offer a service to children with special needs.
The Future of Integration
Young and Free is a “buddying” and befriending service to help young adult members with physical disabilities and/or sensory impairment to socialise with non-disabled volunteers of a similar age. The Good Cook School teaches children of all ages how to cook healthy, wholesome food that they want to eat. In a fun and relaxed atmosphere children will learn basic cooking skills, using fresh and where possible, locally sourced ingredients.
Volunteers make things happen
Big Wide Talk creates space for children, watching and listening, letting them learn for themselves. Thousands of participating children have exceeded everyone’s expectations.

This website was put together by designers chosen by the Children in Care Council who said that children should all have access to a website that gave them all the information that they needed as well as useful contacts and fun games to play.

The idea of the Playing Out project is to provide a simple, tested model which others can copy as a step towards enabling more outdoor, neighbourhood play. We hope it will provide support and inspiration for those who want to do something manageable and fun, bring neighbours together and get the kids outside!
Learn to Drive in Bristol
Driving lessons for children aged 11+ using a dual-controlled car. Encouraged by a Young Driver instructor, they’ll learn how to control a car all the way from how to start, drive, reverse and brake through cornering and lane etiquette etc.
Ceramic and glass artist offering a range of quality clay workshops or glass fusing workshops to schools, community groups or small classes of children and adults.
For young people aged 8-16 we offer a range of progressive courses. These begin with a Taster session and follow on through Levels 1 to 5 right up to our Squad, who compete at a national level.

Diversifying short breaks
Short Breaks Network is a national charity that promotes and supports the Short Break/Respite Care sector. We are working in conjunction with Bristol City Council to provide a programme of free training for anyone involved in caring for a disabled child in the city.
